    The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa choir hosted a Christmas concert on Monday, December 2 at the high school auditorium. The concert, which lasted a full hour, included four junior high choir songs, numerous duets and solos, a Christmas Carol sing-a-long with audience participation and then four songs by the senior high choir.     Bruce Miller, who advocated tirelessly for agriculture and the local foods movement, passed away on November 9. Miller was the Minnesota Farmers Union Membership and Outreach Director in St. Paul. He was a graduate of Brooten High School in 1968 and was raised on a dairy farm south of town.     For the second year in a row, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa volleyball team will play in Saturday's championship rounds of action at the Class 1A state tournament. This year the Jaguars will go for fifth place after advancing in the consolation bracket with a 3-2 win over Henning on November 8 in St. Paul. Game scores were 26-24, 24-26, 18-25, 25-15, 15-12.
