Since 2011, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team has had at least one team member advance and compete at the Class 1A state meet. Over 30 children from the Elrosa area visited with the Easter bunny on Saturday, April 15 at the Elrosa CCD center meeting room. Treats and activities were also provided, and all the kids' names were drawn at the end for a large variety of toys and prizes that were given away. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team turned in one of their best performances of the season at today's Central Minnesota Conference meet (March 23). Led by three seniors who brought home categorical conference titles, B-B-E took second place ahead of host Maple Lake.
