Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary and B-B-E high school both hosted Veterans Day programs on Thursday, November 10. The elementary program, held in the morning, included members of the Brooten American Legion and Legion Auxiliary in addition to students participating with reading and music selections. In his October report to the Belgrade-Brooten Joint Police Board, Chief Casey Jansky said that his department's call volumes are up a fair amount from this point in 2021 but appear lower than what 2020 brought.
