Sixth graders Luke Dingmann, Kaden DeRoo, Odin Jensen, Ryan Jensen and Evan Fischer participated in the regional Math Masters Challenge at Hutchinson on March 1. They are coached by Miss Field and Mrs. Jaeger. A total of 115 students on 23 teams competed individually and as teams on eight sets of mathematical problems in this event. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Community Education is holding their annual Holiday Women's Expo today (Saturday, Dec. 2) at the elementary school gymnasium. The Senior Class of 2018 won Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's Powder Puff flag football game for Homecoming 2017 on Wednesday afternoon (September 27). The game was played with four, six-minute quarters. Since 2011, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team has had at least one team member advance and compete at the Class 1A state meet. Led by three seniors who brought home categorical conference titles, B-B-E took second place ahead of host Maple Lake.
