A welcome home ceremony was held on Saturday, November 10 at the high school for the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars volleyball team. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars volleyball team held Senior Night and recognized the four seniors who have led the team to their best regular season since the 2012 season, when they took a 22-7 record into the Sub-Section 5A-South playoffs. The Elrosa Baseball Club had an especially busy on Saturday, June 30 as they hosted numerous events at Saints Field. The Regal Eagles amateur baseball team is repeat champions of the second annual Elrosa Elite 8 tournament. The Eagles achieved the feat after pulling off a 4-3 win over the host Saints in the title game on Sunday, July 17. Elrosa, 8-5 overall, leads the north division of the Stearns County League. A 29-year drought at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa ended on March 3 when senior Adam Jaeger earned a takedown in the closing seconds of the third period to win a 3-1 decision and claim the 152-pound Class 1A state wrestling title.
